Congratulations Science Fair and Talent Show winners!
We applaud the hard work and effort of all of our students who participated in this year's Science Fair. A very large thank you goes to Ms. Gros and Mr. Dyer who made this Science Fair a reality. This was our first science fair at Knollwood Christian in nearly ten years. I know that all of the students enjoyed the Fair and learned alot!
All projects were judged on how well the scientific method of experimentation and documentation were used and presented. Students identified a problem, formed a hypothesis and then tested and recorded their findings. Here are the winners of our Science Fair...

A change has been made so everyone can participate in "A Knight for our Future". Friday, March 18.
The feedback from parents indicates that while some are interested in attending a banquet; many more are committed to the auctions that help our PTF. The basket auction, teacher auction and sports memorabilia auctions will all take place this Friday.
The format has been changed from a "sit-down banquet" to a "mix and mingle". There will be no admission price... EVERYONE can attend! Below is an itinerary for the night.
5:30 pm Doors open for silent auctions and FREE hors d'oeuvres will be served.
6:30 pm Christian musical group "STORY" will be performing. We are so blessed to have "STORY" as our special guests. Their performance is also FREE.
7:00 pm Guest speaker
7:30 pm Live auction of footballs autographed by Coach Chizik of Auburn and Coach Saban of Alabama.
8:00 pm Silent auctions end, and KCS celebrates a great knight of looking forward to our future!
Our intention was to create a night of fun and fellowship among our parents while raising funds for PTF. We feel like this change will help accomplish both of these goals. Thank you for your support. See you Friday night!

Get your tickets now for...
"A Knight for our Future" dinner and auction. Tickets are $15 per person. The event is geared for adults but tickets for children attending are $10. The night will feature the classroom basket auction, sports memorabilia auction (for boosters club) and our first ever Teachers auction. Teachers will be donating their time and/or talent to raise money for their school. The auctions are meant to be a lot of fun!
The dinner will be catered by Carabba's (italian) and will be served by our 8th grade class. Proceeds will benefit our PTF. There will be lots of time to celebrate our success while keeping an eye on our future. This will be one of the rare opportunities parents may have to fellowship with each other and with our teachers.
Be sure to get your tickets ASAP. The deadline to purchase a ticket for this event is Tuesday March 15. Our goal is to have at least 8 parents representing each classroom. Your students teacher will be hosting a table at this event.
Dont forget to send your classroom auction items in by Monday March 14, so we can put the baskets together.
